Chelsea and Lane have been lovebirds for as long as I can remember. Their story began 10 years ago at the ages of 13 and 14. And this coming July, they are excited to commit their love to each other in front of their families and friends.
This wedding is extra special for me, because not only is this girl gorgeous and fun, but she is my amazing cousin! I feel dually blessed to be chosen as the photographer to document the wedding day of her and her man.
Even though they have discrepancies about how they first met (Chelsea says it was at the Weyburn pool but Lane thinks it was at the Weyburn Fair), they both are confident that this is the kind of love that lasts a lifetime.
Currently, they live in Saskatoon, but they have chosen the Okanagan as their destination point for their vows. So this past weekend was their final scouting trip for all the details of the wedding day. Getting married at the Penticton Lakeside Resort, we were able to steal just a few minutes to go on a quick drive up towards Naramata to check out a few location ideas for their photos. Below are just a couple images of the bluffs overlooking Okanagan Lake while we quickly jetted around before the sun went behind the mountains.
Happy planning and I can’t wait for July!
